After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting, “Hallelujah!  Salvation and power and glory belong to our God…”  (Revelation 19:1)

My daughter thought this would be a good way to start the week.

I think she’s a pretty smart kid.

There are so many idols in this world.  Athletes, musicians, actors, politicians…people stand and cheer and cry out their names and put posters of them on their walls and wear their names and faces on T-shirts.  These people get so much glory, and so often they just don’t deserve it.

Seriously…who could deserve it?

You’re right.  Hey, you’re pretty smart, too.

One day, Beloved.

One day, you and I will be in the front row of the greatest event in history.

One, day, we will give praise and honor and glory to the only One who could ever deserve it.

One day, we will dance with joy to the very music of His heart.

One day

Maybe today

Even so, Come Lord Jesus.

Come for your Beloved.
