With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints (Ephesians 6:18).

Today I have the day off from my teaching gig.

I complaineth not.

Perhaps you also have a holiday.

I hope that you get to do whatever makes you happy today, whether that’s going to the beach or having a BBQ or seeing a movie or cleaning out the garage.

I won’t comment on which of those activities I will participate in.

But guess what, Beloved? God is not off today, nor is his enemy. Before you go and play, remember to get your armor on. Keep your head on a swivel and a prayer in your mind.
