Mercy triumphs over judgement (James 2:13).
And aren’t we glad it does.
How many times have we heard–or said–
“I want my rights.”
“I’m entitled to this.”
“I’ve earned this.”
“I’m gonna get what I deserve.”
Oh, Beloved, be ever so glad that Mercy wins.
Because if Judgment were to win, if we really were to get what we deserve…
It would not be pretty.
