If any of you has a dispute with another, dare he take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the saints?  (1 Corinthians 6:1).

As Paul swings his gaze away from the egregious sin that needs to be dealt with, he turns his focus to this:

Believers suing believers.

So…they can’t muster the gumption to deal with the serious sin we looked at in Chapter 5, but they can run to court over petty disputes.

Not the way family is supposed to be

and yet

the way it so often is.
